The ARCR was previously providing all its members, new and current, with a free email account to use during their time in Costa Rica. However we have suspended our free email service at this time, as the space we are able to offer does not compare with the service and space offered now by the international email service providers.  For this reason we would recommend you open a Google email account (gmail) or a YAHOO email account or a Live Hotmail email account.

((This account could be used anywhere in the world you can find an internet connection, and can be accessed either through Webmail or through your desktop email client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Incredimail, The Bat, etc.). For necessary email client configuration information, please click here.

If you use the Webmail system, please be aware that your space is limited to 40 meg, therefore we recommend you Erase old email on a regular basis.  You should check all Folders (including Deleted) to ensure old mail is not taking up space, as once filled your address may reject new incoming mail. 

Unlike some of the other email accounts that you may have used in the past (like AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.), we provide a high level of protection from SPAM and do not block your outgoing or incoming email. In addition, you will also find that our service is significantly more stable and reliable than other larger email providers.

Though we are providing you with this Email account, we will not be responsible for support or answering questions regarding setup, viruses, maintenance, or any other problems you may encounter. Please contact your nearest technician for any support issues. We will do our best to prevent issues and settle them when they arise on our end.

When you register your email, your username will be the first initial of your first name followed by your full last name (or full primary last name for multiple last names). For popular last names with the same first name initial, we will insert your middle initial.))
